Download:
Turnhout 1.1.1

Introduction:

Turnhout1 is a eclipse plugin to search google. Right click on any word or selected text in the editor and click “Web Search”. I have tested this only on Windows XP and Windows 2000. I don’t know if it works on Linux

1 Turnhout is the name of the town I used to live in when I was in Belgium.

Install:

Unzip the Turnhout*.jar file into the eclipse plugins folder.

Whats New (Version 1.1.1) [30 June, 2005]:

  • Added preference to change the search engine. Default is Google.
  • Added preference to add a keyword (e.g. Java) to search string for more targeted search. Default is ‘Java’. This feature is based on suggestion by Michael Basnight.

Whats New (Version 1.0.1) [5 October, 2004]:

  • Now supports Java Editor and all editors extending from Text Editor
